Kazuo Hozumi is an illustrator who made many drawings of ivy fashion. Wonderfully simple, but very specific, his drawings often give a sense of important details like a jacket's cuff length.

Recently, there was an exhibition of these illustrations. Too bad we weren't in Japan at the time.

Reading last week's Coke can post at Noisy Decent Graphics reminded us of the excellent book, America's Favorites by Kay & Marshall Lee. It's filled with iconic American products, pre-gradient and drop shadow.

We love collecting "Thank You" bags. It's fun to see how a simple message can be interpreted many ways, proof that there's no one solution to anything.

Found this weekend: An issue of Alexey Brodovitch’s Portfolio magazine. 1951. It came with 3-d glasses. Amazing.

Also in the issue of Portfolio was a beautifully designed subscription card.

Looking through Paul Rand's "From Lascaux To Brooklyn," this sketch caught our eye.

We were reorganizing our magazines and came across this great issue of i-D. It's pretty dogged, and cut up for tape cases, but we still remember buying it on the newsstand. October 1988 baby!

While looking for an Olivetti typewriter on ebay, we came across this record. The cover is amazing and we might have to dust off one of our 1200's to see if we can get our words per minute up.
